We’re delighted to introduce the ACL Asia Pacific team overseeing slot coordination at Sydney Airport. Based on-site, this local team represents an exciting new chapter for Airport Coordination Limited in Australia and the wider Asia Pacific region.

With decades of aviation experience and analytical expertise, the Sydney team is already delivering efficient, fair, and transparent slot management at one of Australia’s busiest airports.

Your Coordination Team

Darren Batty – Coordination Manager
Darren brings more than 20 years of experience across the aviation and infrastructure sectors in Australia. As a seasoned senior manager, his expertise spans aircraft scheduling, airport infrastructure, regulatory affairs, and commercial operations. Darren’s leadership and strategic insight are a strong foundation for leading the Sydney team.

Ben Sharrock – Coordination Analyst
Ben joins the team with a strong background in data analysis. His previous roles in local government and laboratory management saw him managing large-scale operations with high-volume data demands. Ben’s analytical strengths and drive for innovation make him a key asset in enhancing coordination performance.

Adam Brown – Coordinator
In his most recent role as an R&D tax consultant, Adam worked closely with senior stakeholders on cutting-edge technology initiatives. With a keen eye for detail and a background in research, administration, and legislative compliance, Adam is a great addition to the team.

The Sydney team are part of ACL’s global network, supported by colleagues in the UK, UAE, and New Zealand. With over 30 years of experience coordinating some of the world’s most capacity-constrained airports, and a portfolio spanning nearly 80 airports worldwide, ACL is proud to extend its expertise to Sydney Airport and the wider Asia Pacific region.
